19 Weeks!

Sorry for the AWFUL picture- it's the only one I have from this week!

How far along? 19 weeks and 6 days. (since I'm late on this post it's now 20 weeks!)
Total weight gain: 5 lbs
Maternity Clothes? Yes, if I'm not wearing maternity shorts my belly button shows through my shirt.
Stretch Marks? Nope! My skin has started getting super itchy this week though, yuck!
Sleep? better this week, but still not awesome. I seem to be up around 5-6 every morning when I don't need to be up then. :(
Best moment this week: MANY best moments this week. I think I'll just write a list:
- my mom was able to find baby's heartbeat and give me a monitor strip. I hadn't felt baby move all week so I was quite worried (I know, it's still early, but it's had not to think something is wrong after two losses!). I was lucky enough that my mom is a L&D nurse and had access to the equipment to ease my mind and have that special moment with her.
- Paul feeling his first HUGE movement of baby. I could see the movement outside my belly and called him over. He was quick enough to catch baby kneeing me big time (at least I think it was a knee?)
- Seeing our sweet baby on ultrasound and finding out the gender! Another post to come on this whole event!
- buying the first clothes for baby in gender specific colours!
- our mini vacation to MI before Paul goes back to school.
- getting more stuff for the nursery!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Miss anything? Nothing!
Movement? Some days I feel more than others, but yes most days!
Food cravings? Hi-Chew. It's a candy we had for the first time in California and it isn't sold in Canada. My grandma recently visited CA and brought me a Costco bag back. The baby loves it, every time I eat some it kicks and kicks!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing I can think of!
Have you started to show yet? Yes! More people asking me when I am due now. It's nice to know I don't just look like I ate one too many cupcakes.
Gender: We know, but our family doesn't so the big reveal will come sometime next week!
Symptoms: Tired, getting dizzy if I stand too long, still the head rushes.
Happy or moody most of the time? both this week!
Labor Signs: No!
Belly Button in or out? both!
Looking forward to: Telling our family the gender of baby P!
